Eco-Realty International’s Green Growth Team provides testing for energy savings for homes, multi-family units, and businesses. The thorough Home Energy Rating System (HERS) testing and detailed report informs owners and sellers where weaknesses in energy savings are occurring on the property, and offers a range of solutions. A HERS rating can be used to help a home owner or home buyer qualify for green financing options such as an Energy Efficient Mortgage (where home owners and buyers can roll the cost of needed energy improvements into the mortgage based on the expected savings) or an Energy Improvement Mortgage. Sellers may also use the testing to add value to their homes through modifications to ensure long-term energy savings. The Green Growth Team also coordinates vendors for the upgrades when requested, using the finest experts in the Upstate to make properties sustainable and energy-efficient, and retests to verify results. |
